ANGELICA MARION

Angelica Marion, raised between Jamaica and London, and currently training at AMTA for musical theatre, grew up with a strong passion for music and dance. At 16, she found her true calling in the London Salsa scene. Exploring different styles of dance including Salsa, Bachata, Hip-Hop, and Afro, she trained with some of the top teachers in the industry and quickly found her name being short listed in local competitions, coming in 3rd place in the UK Bachata Amateur Competition in 2013. Shortly after, she began to receive invitations to teach in congresses across the UK alongside other prominent teachers. She has now been teaching with Ritmo Latino London for the past two years and has taught and performed throughout the UK, Spain, Portugal and Croatia. Her distinctive style is influenced by the hip-hop and street styles she grew up watching and she has been in music videos for world famous artists such as Giggs, Donae’o, and others as well as appearing in the well known film, Cuban Fur
