Ruan Galdino (Brazil)

Ruan Galdino is a 23 year-old Brazilian professional ballet dancer born in Rio de Janeiro.

He attended summer school at the American Academy of Ballet (New York) and at the Orlando Ballet academy and afterwards won scholarships and training programmes to the Washington Ballet Academy, Miami City Ballet Academy, Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.

He is a soloist at the Joburg Ballet where he has had lead roles in a variety of well-known Ballets such as: The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Snow White and more. He has performed as a guest in the Black Swan Gala in 10 different cities in Russia and won some of the largest ballet world-competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix (New York) and World Ballet Competition (Orlando, Florida)
