CHILLY ‘ALISAR’ CHANDA

Chilly started his Salsa journey in Jan 2009 and by June that year was hooked and went down the rabbit hole that is Salsa Addiction. By 2011, he started Chilly's blog (the longest running salsa blog in SA & also started contributing to LatinDanceCommunity) and then went for his first Salsa Festival and has been attending festivals all over the World ever since. Additionally, as a member of All Out Salsa, he helped organise the Mzansi Cape Town Salsa Festival from 2013 - 2016. 

In 2012 he helped found the SA salseros who went on to perform at Festivals in Croatia and Hamburg and then on 26 Jan 2013, he started Alisar Dance Co. focused on a smooth style of Salsa and Bachata, and the school went on to form 4 Island Touch Teams in SA. 

Chilly believes you always have something to learn and he is always pushing himself to learn more on his life long journey of Dance.
