Promoter & performer: Pili Pili (Spain/Tanzania)

Spanish born, Pili began dancing and performing at an early stage starting with gymnastics, flamenco and salsa. Later she trained as a choreographer and dance teacher in Barcelona where she was teaching hip hop and other styles regularly in dance studios. Her passion for mixing styles saw her move to London to train in capoeira, Brazilian samba, ballet, circus skills, contemporary and African dance. Currently based in Dar es Salaam she teaches salsa regularly and has performed and travelled to many international salsa congresses like GBSEX in Manchester, MamboCity 5Star Congress, Croatia Summer Salsa Festival, Ireland, Scotland, Greece and she is booked for the new upcoming African congresses including Egypt, Kigali, Mozambique, Nairobi to name a few. She has appeared in numerous TV programs such as Britain’s Got Talent, Alan Titchmarsh show (ITV, UK), The Celebrity Reality show (TBC Tanzania), MTV videos and danced at numerous concerts like Daddy Yankee, Aggros Santos, Luis Lema, Robin del Castillo and more. She has choreographed and performed in large festivals such as Glastonbury, organized big Latin events like the Carnaval del Pueblo in the UK and Danzibar Festival in Tanzania and travelled with her dance productions to, for example, Dubai, Bahrain, Al Ain, Zurich, Malta, Turkey, and Crete.
