Thabo Moloto (Come Salsa, South Africa)
Born Thabo Solomon Moloto on 29th June 1981, in Pietersburg (now known as Polokwane), Limpopo, he then relocated with his family to Johannesburg at the age of 3.
Thabo started his dancing journey at the International School of South Africa in 1996 at the age of 15. The school had a dance program with the Northwest Arts Council and Thabo went onto enter and win dance competitions.
During this journey, after he completed schooling, he had an opportunity to work in the United Kingdom as a Dance Performer and Coach where he discovered “SALSA” in 2000.
Since then Thabo has journeyed across the oceans as a professional Dancer, Instructor and DJ on more than 100 cruises across Europe and South America.
In 2006 he was selected for the second season of BBC’s hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing South Africa as a professional coach, choreographer and performer and he was also in the third season of the show in 2007; in the same year he went onto to establishing his own entertainment company “Come Salsa”
Under the leadership of Thabo Moloto as the Director, Come Salsa is going on 11 years and in that time has made a significant contribution to the growth of the Salsa and Dance community in Southern Africa including Music and Dance Festivals around the world.
