Emmanuel Sowah (Dance Spirit SA, South Africa/Ghana)

Emmanuel Sowah - a.k.a DJ E-Kins - is Ghanaian-born, currently based in South Africa. As one of the pioneers of salsa and kizomba in SA, he forms part of an elite salsa and kizomba community in the country. He is the owner of Dance Spirit SA also known as Salsa Spirit SA, founded in 2005, and for the past 17 years, he has been teaching salsa, kizomba, bachata, street cha-cha and DJs. 

Renowned for being energetic on the dance floor, dedicated to music, dancing, and most importantly to his learners, DJ E-Kins is passionate about contributing to the growth of the Afro-Latin dance community in Africa. He has over the years retained his membership as part of the salsa and kizomba community in Ghana.

Outside the dance scene, he is also a Microsoft certified IT professional and a managing director at Emsolve IT Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
